Corporate development is the result of a careful and profitable use of economic resources; furthermore it is an ethical duty to pursue the growth of productive activity in harmony with the environment. The certification ISO 14001:2004 obtained by SQS was the result to develop, implement and keep active our own environmental management system. In this way Franzosini, the first transport company based in Ticino to certify itself for the environment, intends to concentrate its efforts by developing a management system aimed at keeping the environmental impact of its activity under control and systematically searches to improve in a coherent, effective and above all sustainable manner. Preventing pollution does not only concern the movement of own heavy and light vehicles, but also extends to all activities carried out within the company also involving suppliers and clients. Franzosini promotes a culture in favour of the environment in relation to our personnel providing specific didactic material aimed to making aware on the activities. These are constantly controlling through precise and appropriate indicators updated to save the impact to the environment. Apart from the fuel consumption of heavy means, particular attention is paid to managing waste deriving from internal activity, as also the use of technologies which favour the environment. All this is systematically monitored by our managers; all our drivers are instructed with an Eco- drive ecological driving course: a proven technique for road driving which is safe, comfortable, economic, and respectful to the environment and with 10-15% less energy consumption of pollutant emissions.
