On 28 March 2024, SA Luciano Franzosini celebrates 95 years since its founding. A milestone that few companies in the forwarding and logistics sector can claim, and one that testifies to the ability to adapt to change while keeping founding values intact.

Founded in Chiasso in 1929 as the Swiss branch of an Italian forwarding house dating back to 1845, the company has successfully navigated the economic and political transformations of the 20th and 21st centuries, from early transport with rudimentary vehicles to today's digital technologies.

Already during the 1929 crisis, Franzosini distinguished itself through its commitment to fair working practices, participating in the 1936 strike and being among the first companies to sign a collective employment agreement. After the Second World War, the company became independent from the Italian parent, increasingly adopting a 'Swiss Made' management approach.

Environmental sustainability has always been a core value: a modern fleet, driver training to limit fuel consumption and emissions, and the first Ticino-based company in international transport to obtain ISO 14001 environmental certification, in addition to ISO 9001 for business management.
