Import is broadly liberalised. There are still restrictions on the import of certain goods which are on a negative list, however, in the form of bans or licences. Various different authorities are responsible for the issue of authorisations. Ask the importer.
There are bans on the import of weapons, slot machines, motorcycles, pesticides. Customs declarations can be submitted electronically using the CAPS system (registration required) or in paper form.

Based on a letter of credit and documents against payment.
Designations of origin
No special regulations. If the goods give a misleading impression about their origin, label with the country of origin (Made in …), where applicable.
No special labelling and marking regulations known.
Avoid hay and straw as there are some disinfection regulations. Use stable packaging. Use of the IPPC standard ISPM no. 15 for wooden packaging.
Duty free if they have no retail value. For samples subject to duty brought by travelling salesmen ask for deepened details.
Shipping and accompanying documents
a) Commercial invoices, 3 copies, in English with an indication of the country of origin, uncertified.
b) Certificates of origin are not required.
c) Postal items up to 20 kg: 1 APC and 1 customs declaration in English.
d) Order bills of lading with a notify address
