With note 78736 of June 22nd, 2012, the Customs Agency has granted to persons who have obtained the AEO certification by the online system and domiciled procedure, to make customs declarations of exports and export combined with transit, every day, in an extended period of time between 01.00 and 24.00.
This is an important advantage of the Customs towards companies and people who meet specific requirements of reliability and a special degree of responsibility.
The benefit, on one hand, can overcome the time limitations imposed by the operating hours of Customs Offices, while on the other hand, makes the supply chain more competitive, adjusting clearance times to those of the other community realities.
Only the goods selected for control, whether it’s documental or physical, must remain in the authorized places, waiting for the intervention of the delegate customs officer, during the operating hours of the competent office.
Once again we note the importance of this certification, that the companies, given the increasing demands for speed, should be consider more carefully.
