We are looking for an International Transport Dispatcher with proven experience in shipment dispatching and knowledge of customs procedures, to plan, coordinate and manage international transport by sea, air and road.
As International Transport Dispatcher, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing international shipments by sea, air and road. You will work closely with clients, suppliers and colleagues, ensuring service precision and efficiency. The position is based at the Novazzano (Chiasso) office, within an international and dynamic team where operational, customs and commercial competencies converge to deliver integrated logistics solutions to our clients.
Planning and coordination: Plan, coordinate and effectively manage international shipments by sea, air and road, ensuring service precision and efficiency from pick-up to delivery.
Customs management: Manage customs procedures and formalities related to international shipments, ensuring compliance with current regulations and correct documentation for each operation.
Client and supplier relations: Optimally manage relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues, serving as an operational point of reference and ensuring constant communication on shipment progress.
Monitoring and optimisation: Monitor shipment progress in real time, identify critical issues and implement solutions to optimise time, cost and quality of the service offered to clients.
Proven experience in international transport dispatching, preferably in a freight forwarding or transport company
In-depth knowledge of customs procedures and formalities
Ability to effectively plan, coordinate and manage shipments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Italian: excellent command
Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite and freight management software (e.g. Daco/Fastlogistic)
Excellent knowledge of German (C1 level or equivalent) is considered a strong asset; additional language skills, particularly French and English, are also valued
Specific experience with multimodal transport (sea, air, road)
