We are looking for a part-time (50%) Billing Clerk with experience in a freight forwarding company to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of billing-related administrative processes.

As Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing-related administrative processes at the Chiasso office. The role involves managing client, supplier and tariff data in management systems, controlling issued invoices and monitoring costs, in close collaboration with the Commercial, Accounting and Transport Dispatch departments. The 50% part-time position offers schedule flexibility in a modern and technologically advanced work environment.

  1. Master data management: Manage and verify master data relating to clients, suppliers and tariffs in management systems, ensuring constant updating and data accuracy.
  2. Invoice control: Control and manage invoice issuance, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Swiss tax regulations, with verification of dossier profitability.
  3. Cost monitoring: Monitor supplier costs and verify dossier profitability, flagging any discrepancies to relevant departments for efficient financial management.
  4. Internal collaboration and reporting: Collaborate with internal teams (Commercial, Accounting and Transport Dispatch) to resolve invoice or dossier issues and prepare reports to support strategic decisions.
