We are looking for an accounting assistant with experience in general accounting and administrative management to support the administration department at the Chiasso office.
The accounting assistant will support the administration department in managing daily accounting, recording supplier and client invoices, managing collections and payments, and preparing documentation for periodic closings. You will work closely with colleagues in administration and billing, in a structured and professional environment where precision and reliability are core values.
General accounting: Recording daily accounting operations, managing the chart of accounts and reconciling bank balances.
Invoice management: Recording and verifying supplier and client invoices, managing collections and payments in compliance with deadlines.
Periodic closing support: Preparation of accounting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual closings, in collaboration with the administrative manager.
Commercial training (Federal VET Diploma in commercial work or equivalent)
At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding sector
Good command of IT tools (Office, accounting software)
Precision, reliability and organisational skills
Fluent Italian; German or English are a plus
Experience with Fastlogistics (DACO) software
