We are looking for a warehouse operative for the operational management of incoming and outgoing goods, quality and quantity checks, and shipment preparation.
The warehouse operative will be responsible for the operational management of goods at the Novazzano warehouse, a key logistics point for storage and distribution in the Mendrisiotto area. Activities include receiving and storing goods, quality and quantity checks, shipment preparation and maintaining order and safety in the warehouse. The role requires physical capability, attention and reliability.
Goods receiving and storage: Receiving incoming goods, checking correspondence with transport documentation and storing in designated warehouse areas.
Quality control and inventory: Quality and quantity verification of goods, reporting damages or discrepancies and participation in periodic inventory activities.
Shipment preparation: Preparation and packaging of outgoing goods according to dispatch instructions, with labelling and preparation of transport documentation.
Order and safety: Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse, compliance with safety standards and company operational procedures.
Previous experience in warehouse or logistics
Good physical capabilities and willingness for manual goods handling
Precision, reliability and aptitude for teamwork
Fluent Italian
Forklift operator licence
Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems
