Listed below are the necessary items to be included in the export invoice:
COLUMNS and WEIGHT of the goods;
RETURN of goods;
TARGA of the means of transport being used to carry out customs clearance;
GROSS WEIGHT/NET WEIGHT;
GOODS’ STATEMENT OF ORIGIN (i.e., where it is produced).
If the goods meet EEC preferential characteristics, it is essential to write and sign the following statement at the bottom of the invoice:
“THE EXPORTER OF THE GOODS COVERED HEREIN DECLARES THAT UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED THE GOODS ARE OF PREFERENTIAL ORIGIN C.E.”
NAME and SURNAME of person signing;
PLACE and DATE;
READABLE SIGNATURE.
VALUE and EVALUATION of the invoice;
Italian invoices for the export of goods should also be issued by writing the following in the body of the invoice:
“Non-taxable ART. 8(a) Presidential Decree 633/72 of 26/10/1972 as amended.”
