INAUGURATION SCHEDULED FOR MARCH FOR THE NEW CUSTOMS CENTER OF FRANZOSINI ITALIA S.R.L. AT THE GAGGIOLO CROSSING.

In the number 3 edition of our magazine we dedicated a mention to the works to build the new headquarters of Franzosini Italia S.r.l. in Gaggiolo; In this issue we can finally announce the upcoming opening of the new customs center in March.

The construction of the new customs area has seen us engaged for several months in order to adapt the existing structure according to our operational needs and to bring every plant and structure on site up to standard.

The new headquarters is located in Via Cantello 43 / A in Clivio, along the Provincial Road of Elvetia, just 800 meters from the Gaggiolo pass, in the direction of Clivio / Viggiù: the entire area is about 10,000 square meters and is equipped with customs offices of 250 square meters that will operate with customs clearance in domiciled procedure and pre-declaration combined with Switzerland.

The large customs yard offers parking and parking facilities for about 50 trucks.

We have a customs warehouse for the domiciled procedure and another part dedicated to the medium-long term storage for customers’ goods.

Three welcoming and well-equipped waiting rooms have been dedicated to the drivers, with coffee dispensers, snacks and drinks, as well as private bathrooms complete with showers and always accessible, 24 hours a day.

Customs clearance times will be from 06:00 to 18:30 and the entrance gates to the internal customs square will be open from 05:00 to 22:00. In addition, for certain traffics, it will be possible to reserve special remote controls to access our private customs yard even at night.

The entire area, the warehouse and the offices will be controlled by video surveillance systems and alarms to guarantee customers and drivers the safety of the load during the stop at Franzosini Italia and an internal security plan and external traffic will also protect all users of the Provincial Road, on which the imposing entrance to the company is located.
