Pan-Euro-Mediterranean cumulation represents a free trade system between European and Mediterranean countries. Individual free trade agreements between the states and territories involved are linked in such a way that industrial products originating in a partner state are also considered as originating products in trade with any other participating state.
The expression “Euro-Med” is used as an abbreviated form for this system.
Special proofs of origin are designated in this system with “EUR-MED.”
